The loaded coverage and stock lengths are editable examples, not universal product specifications. Confirm whether the manufacturer lists coverage per piece, panel, carton or package, and enter that same purchasing unit consistently with price.

7. 7Review waste-adjusted area, whole soffit units, fascia linear footage, whole fascia pieces and any entered material costs.

2. 2Soffit waste area = base soffit area × soffit waste percentage.
3. 3Waste-adjusted soffit area = base soffit area × (1 + soffit waste percentage ÷ 100).
4. 4Soffit units to buy = waste-adjusted soffit area ÷ effective coverage per unit, rounded up to a whole unit.
5. 5Purchased soffit coverage = whole soffit units × effective coverage per unit.
6. 6Waste-adjusted fascia length = fascia run × (1 + fascia waste percentage ÷ 100).
7. 7Fascia pieces to buy = waste-adjusted fascia length ÷ fascia stock length, rounded up to a whole piece.
8. 8Purchased fascia length = whole fascia pieces × fascia stock length.
9. 9Estimated soffit cost = soffit units × entered price per unit; estimated fascia cost = fascia pieces × entered price per piece.

• Total soffit run includes only eaves within the intended project scope and is measured along the installed edge.
• Average soffit depth is suitable for the measured run; substantially different depths should be calculated as separate sections and combined.
• Entered effective coverage matches the exact manufacturer, product, installed profile and purchasing unit used for pricing.
• Waste is applied to area before soffit units round up and to linear length before fascia pieces round up.
• Soffit and fascia quantities round up independently to whole purchasing units or pieces.
• Using soffit run for fascia assumes both materials cover the same eave segments; otherwise enter a separate fascia measurement.
• Fascia stock length represents usable purchasable length before field cuts, laps, joints or manufacturer-required allowances.
• Optional price uses the same unit basis as coverage or stock length and excludes tax, delivery, labor and accessories.
• Openings, corners, returns and obstructions are represented only by the selected waste allowance, not by a detailed layout.
• Ventilation capacity, substrate condition, fastening, expansion, drainage and structural suitability require separate evaluation.
