Stucco Area, Volume and Bag Formulas
- 1Rectangular wall area = 2 × (building length + building width) × wall height in simple-dimensions mode.
- 2Gable area = number of gables × gable base width × gable rise ÷ 2.

Imperial and Metric Stucco Material Examples
Imperial example: a 40 ft × 30 ft building with 10 ft walls has 1,400 sq ft of rectangular wall area. Two 30 ft-wide gables rising 6 ft add 180 sq ft. Subtract 220 sq ft of openings for 1,360 sq ft net. At an entered combined thickness of 0.75 in, wet volume is 85.00 cu ft. Add 10% waste for 93.50 cu ft. With an entered published yield of 0.65 cu ft per bag, divide and round up to 144 bags. Metric example: a 12 m × 9 m building with 3 m walls and two 9 m gables rising 1.8 m has 142.2 m² gross area. Subtract 20 m² for 122.2 m² net. At 19 mm, wet volume is 2.322 m³; with 10% waste and a published yield of 0.0184 m³ per bag, round up to 139 bags. Every product value is an editable example only.

Does this calculate cement, sand and lime separately?
